Rifqa Bary lives in Ohio. Last August the 17 year old Rifqa ran away from her home. She ended up in Orlando Florida in the home of a Christian pastor and his wife. When the law enforcement questioned Rifqa about why she ran away, she said her father threaten to kill her. Why would a father threaten to kill his daughter? Was that he caught her using and selling drugs , was she caught having sex, was she caught stealing, maybe she was in a gang and caught beating up innocent baby girls. No it was none of these things. You see Rifqa is a Muslim and two years earlier she secretly had converted to Christianity. The mosque her family belongs to found this out and told her father to take of this. This is when her father threaten her and she fled in fear for life. You see Rifqa knew as well as all knowledgeable practicing Muslims that if a Muslim leaves the faith and converts to another religion it is perfectly within her families rights or another practicing Muslims rights to kill her for this offense. This is part of the Muslim law , which all practicing Muslims know supersedes any man made laws regardless of the country they are living. Here allow me to share with you what Rifqa knew:
1) All schools of Islamic jurisprudence are unanimous, " regardless of the nation a person is living in if they turn from Islam they should be killed."
2) Tafsir al Qurtubi is a popular and classic commentary on the Qur an used by many so called moderate Muslims. It clearly states in two sections that if a Muslim leaves the faith they should be killed by whoever finds them.
3) According to Hadith of Bukhari the prophet said that if somebody discards his religion then kill them.
I could go on but you get the point and so did Rifqa. So like most of us or rather I should say like a person with unshakable conviction she ran for her life. Unfortunately the know nothing Florida investigatosr said they interviewed Rifqa's father and he said he would not kill her. I have no idea what they expected him to say perhaps they expected a full confession from him. Her dimwitted Florida lawyer then allowed himself to be played like a fool by her fathers lawyer and she was take from Florida where she was getting a fair trial and returned to Ohio a state who's politicians are flush with campaign from Saudi Arabia and other Muslim sources. So now Rifqa sits in a type of solitary confinement awaiting her trail dates and wondering if shewill live to see her 18th birthday . You are thinking something like this could never happen in America? But it did, it has and its just the beginning.
